I have to listen to music while I work. It's seriously a must. I have to have some type of background noise in order to work.
So, I've compiled a list of 25 songs that get my creative juices flowing.
- The Girl is Mine by Michael Jackson & Paul McCartney
- White Teeth Teens by Lorde (anything by her, really)
- Middle of Your Heart by for King and Country
- Somewhere in My Memory by John Williams (instrumental)
- True Affection by The Blow
- Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles
- Jamming by Bob Marley
- You've Got a Friend by James Taylor
- New Soul by Yael Naim
- MMMBop by Hanson
- Follow Your Arrow by Kacey Musgraves
- Invisible by Hunter Hayes
- Wagon Wheel by Darius Rucker
- Nobody Compares by One Direction
- She's So High by Tal Bachman
- Run-Around by Blues Traveler
- Sign on the Door by Edwin McCain
- Let It Go by Idina Menzel
- Beauty & The Beast by Angela Lansbury
- In Too Deep by Sum 41
- Happy by Pharrell Williams
- Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus (One Direction version is good, too! This song does curse quite a few times, just to warn you.)
- I Wish by Cher Lloyd & T.I.
- Pretty in Pink by the Psychedelic Furs
- Jolene by Dolly Parton
I also often listen to the Jack Johnson station on Pandora, Disney Movie Soundtracks, instrumental Christmas music, & anything Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, or Edwin McCain is perfect for drawing/painting/being creative. :)
